AIFRA Distinguished Lecture and Fellowships

Purpose

AIFRA will host eminent international scholars, policy leaders and expert practitioners for high-profile lectures and short-term fellowships. The Distinguished Lecture series and fellowship program aims to enrich local regulatory discourse with comparative insights and expand AIFRA’s global thought leadership network.

  Format

Distinguished Lectures feature an invited luminary delivering an original, substantive address on a major regulatory topic or theme, followed by audience Q&A and a reception. Lectures are held 2-3 times per year. Fellows in residence at AIFRA for 2-8 weeks engage in intensive collaboration with faculty and students, delivering guest lectures, seminars or workshops.

CPD Points

Attending Distinguished Lectures can earn up to 2 CPD points. Substantive engagement with fellows, such as a mentoring relationship or collaborative project, can yield up to 10 CPD points with Director approval.

   Fees

Distinguished Lectures are free and open to the public. Fellowships are funded through a combination of AIFRA budget, external grants, and partner secondments. No additional fees for students or members.
