Knowledge Assessment

Foundational learning will undergo verification through multiple choice questions testing terminology, concepts, procedures, contextual judgment across regulatory domains. 

Assessment Format:

Structured MCQ tests will be utilized spanning:

– 60 questions for Regulatory Associate assessments

– 80 questions for Regulatory Professional assessments

– 100 questions for Regulatory Specialist assessments

Questions will examine both factual knowledge and situational judgment across a range of regulatory domains.

Factual Knowledge Coverage:

Test across areas including:

– Core terminology, concepts, models

– Applicable laws, regulations, standards

– Institutional governance, structures, workflows

– Investigation, reporting and enforcement protocols

– Stakeholder consultation and communications techniques

Situational Judgment Coverage:

A minimum 30% test composition rule will ensure emphasis on contextual regulatory judgment via multi-format questions such as:

– Scenario analysis – identify risks, strategic implications

– Priority setting – rank severity, urgency, impact

– Decision trees – select optimal choices based on tradeoffs 

– Error identification – pinpoint compliance gaps

– Best approach selection – justify strategy given constraints
